  • I started a six month program with Kate not fully knowing what to expect. I was heavily drinking, going out and partying, eating whatever I wanted and thinking going to the gym every day would help me. It certainly didn’t.

    Day one of this program Kate asked me all the things I wanted to correct about myself. The one issue for me being weight. I didn’t know I actually had a laundry list of underlying issues I needed help with. I was never sleeping, full of anxiety and depression, my periods were’t regular even after a year and a half being off birth control, I had cystic acne and eczema, etc., the list goes on.

    During the six months we worked together, I learned SO much about the human body, health and wellness and how to actually take care of myself as a FEMALE. Things I didn’t know for 29 years of my life. Things we were never taught in high school or by doctors.

    Seven months later, I feel the best that I have EVER felt in my life. I may have only lost a couple pounds, but I now eat healthier than ever while still eating what I want, paying attention to specific things I am putting in my body, I haven’t wanted alcohol in almost a month and a half, I sleep through the night, my skin is clear, I haven’t had anxiety or depression in months. I feel confident in myself and my body! It feels really fucking awesome. I’ve struggled for my entire adult life with my image and for the first time, I look at myself in the mirror with acceptance and praise for myself. This is my only body. I will forever continue treating it like a temple. Kate is incredible. The end.

  • I joined Kate’s six month program and was nothing short of amazed! This beautiful woman was such a strong, knowledgeable force. She was able to take my scattered ideas of what “health” was and help me see it wasn’t just about the number on the scale. With her relaxed, non-judgmental approach, I was able to learn and grow by leaps and bounds. I became aware of my body, especially from a woman’s perspective. I began to understand my cyclical phases and how to exercise and eat right during each phase. I was able to focus on small, attainable changes every couple of weeks. I’ve learned not to be hard on myself when I do go off track. I know I have Kate there to steer me back on my health journey when I find myself in a rut. But one of the most important things I’ve learned is how to eat for stable blood sugar. It was the biggest key to helping me stop my cravings and late-night chip eating binges.

    I had such a narrow view of what healthy was and Kate was able to take my hand and gently teach me and guide me into an entire healthy way of life that is not only attainable but gave me the energy and confidence I needed to continue on my health journey. Why did I ever do that before? It has been months since working with Kate and I have been able to manage my cycles with minimal intervention, and my PMS is so much better. The food you fuel your body with matters and it matters what time of your cycle you are eating that food. I now look ahead at my schedule when planning and compare it to where I will be in my cycle. FAQs

 

What is the time commitment?

My Coaching program is a 6 month commitment. Why six months? Because bottom line this amount of time works to make the necessary habit changes for long lasting transformation.

Within the 6 month time frame you will need to commit one hour every other week for your 1:1 coaching session with me, 2-5 hours a week for movement/exercise, time for meal planning and grocery shopping, and ample time in the kitchen experimenting with and preparing foods.

I understanding most people lead busy lives with jobs, families, homes, pets, etc. Managing your time in a way that allows you to create space for these commitments can be a part of your personalized plan if this is a particular struggle for you. I promise you it is worth it to make the time in your life for your health. As you follow my program your energy and motivation will increase and you will learn to love this new way of spending quality time on yourself as well as yours’ and your family’s well-being.


Do i need to purchase supplements?

My program is built entirely around the foods you eat and the life you live. Supplement recommendations will always be just that - a recommendation and absolutely not a requirement to meet goals and find success in my program. I will only recommend(and give out samples of) supplements that I have tried and loved!


What is the end result?

Whatever you want it to be. Your goals are my goals. When we have your initial appointment we’ll write out the things you want to focus on and we’ll take action in the direction of your personal goals. I specialize in weight loss, women’s hormones in their reproductive years and yoga.


Do I need to be local to receive your services?

No! If you are remote we can execute my entire program online. In addition to this, if you are local but unwilling or unable to meet in person due to Covid concerns, I am well-versed in meeting virtually and more than happy to do so.


I haven’t tried yoga, what are the first steps?

When I started yoga I was recovering from a broken back. I was overweight, couldn’t lay flat on the floor, and couldn’t touch my toes. I built my practice literally from nothing. Anyone can start a yoga practice, at any age, with any body. When you are unexperienced, the safest way to do so is by working with an experienced Yoga Teacher. Let me walk beside you in your personal yoga journey!
